Eating lunch or balancing a laptop on your knees in a parked vehicle gets old fast. We shaped this hard surface to hook over the rim of your steering wheel or hang behind the front seat. It sets up in moments and folds down flat when you need your cab back.

• Wheel and seat mounting. The hooks slip over your steering wheel when the vehicle is parked. They also attach to the steel posts of a front headrest so someone sitting in the rear row has a level flat surface.
• Angle and height adjustment. Vehicles have different seat heights and wheel angles. Knobs on the frame let you change the height of the platform and tilt the flat deck so your keyboard or sandwich stays level.
• Molded recess details. A shallow groove holds a phone or tablet upright while you read. There is a recessed spot for a drink and a small molded slot so your pen does not roll off the side into the footwell.
• Folds flat for storage. When you finish eating or typing, loosen the knobs and fold the frame flat. The whole piece slips under a front seat, into a back pocket, or into the trunk until your next stop.
