A closer look

Game hardware makers have used strange fasteners for decades to keep hands out of cartridge shells and handheld casings. We put the uncommon three winged heads, star shapes, and security profiles into one roll so you can replace a dead battery or clean a sticky button. The full list of bit profiles is printed beside this text.

  • Matching strange screw heads. Old cartridges and modern controllers rely on security fasteners that normal household tools chew up. Our bits seat cleanly into three winged screws and star recesses without camming out or shaving the metal edges.
  • Prying plastic without gouging. Thin plastic casings snap together tight and leave little room for metal blades. Non-metal spudgers and triangle picks let you split housing seams and release internal clips without chewing up the soft exterior edges.
  • Grip and spinning cap. Small fasteners need steady downward pressure while you turn so the tip stays seated in the head. The handle uses a silicone section for finger traction and a smooth swivel top that rotates under your palm.
  • Storage roll on the bench. Bits, tweezers, brush, and pry tools pack flat into a nylon roll pouch that ties shut. It lays out flat beside your work area so loose parts do not wander across the table during teardown.
