Recessed star head fasteners tend to sit down inside deep counterbores where a standard driver body rubs the wall. We machine these long bits from hardened alloy steel to reach deep cavities without binding. Magnetic tips hold loose fasteners straight so they do not tip sideways into dark openings.

• Reach down deep recesses. The extra length clears deep wells in intake manifolds, dashboard trims, and flat pack assemblies. You reach the fastener head straight on without the driver chuck dragging along the opening edge.
• Machined star profiles. We machine each lobe to seat fully in the fastener socket. The snug interface distributes turning force across the lobes, which keeps the bit firmly seated and helps prevent rounding out the screw head.
• Magnetic tip retention. The tips are magnetized to cling to small steel screws while you drop them down an unlit bore. Fasteners stay aligned on the tip instead of falling loose into the machinery.
