Wood Carving Kit, 35PCS Wood Carving Tools Set with Leather Tool

A closer look

Shaping a block of wood starts with removing stock and ends with tiny angled cuts that stop right at the grain line. This set holds both knives and gouges together with maintenance gear to keep the bevel keen. The leather roll lays flat on your bench so each cutting profile stays visible while you carve.

• Blades for varied cuts. Roughing out a bowl or flattening a relief surface takes different steel than cutting a line. The set includes wide flat chisels, hollowing gouges, and curved detail blades so you can match the sweep to your mark.
• Fine detail tools. Small cuts around corners need short blades that follow the wrist without chattering. Narrow tips, skew profiles, and angled cutting points let you pare back tight corners and trace clean grooves across the grain.
• Edge care on bench. A dull bevel tears wood fibers instead of slicing them clean. We pack a sharpening stone, leather honing strop, compound, and sandpaper with the tools so you can dress nicked edges and polish the wire burr off.
• Storage in leather roll. Edges dull quickly when knocked against other steel in a drawer. The leather holder keeps each wooden handle and cutting tip separated in its own pocket, ready to untie and spread out over the work table.
