A closer look

Screws set deep into recessed holes need a driver that holds the fastener until the threads catch. We ground these flat and cross heads from chrome vanadium steel, magnetized the tips, and molded an insulating sleeve down the length of each shaft.

• Sleeved down the shaft. A molded insulating sleeve wraps each handle and runs along the steel shaft, leaving only the working tip bare. The full technical rating is printed on the label beside this text.
• Magnetized tip ends. The dark oxidized tips hold fasteners in place while you line them up with a pilot hole. You spend less time fishing dropped fasteners out from under workbenches and floorboards.
• Dual material handle grip. The handle uses a non-slip outer layer over a rigid core. Flat faces along the sides keep the tool from rolling away across an uneven board when you lay it flat.
• Chrome vanadium steel shanks. Each shaft is forged from chrome vanadium alloy to resist twisting under firm turning force. The edges seat fully into the screw slot so the head turns instead of rounding out.
